MITEX Moscow International Tool Expo is a major international tools exhibition in Russia and CIS countries that will take place on November,
491 companies from 23 countries, including Austria, Belarus, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Japan are among MITEX 2012 exhibitors.

MITEX is a major exhibition event in Russian tool industry
MITEX is a traditional meeting place of manufacturers, distributors, dealers and professional users of power tools, bench and mounting tools, petrol powered tools, abrasives, fittings, power generators, professional cleaning and heating equipment, snow bowlers, gardening tools and machinery.
Among MITEX 2012 exhibitors are the tool industry leaders, including Amida/Sparki, Brigadir technologies, BOSCH, Wald, VNESHTECHKONTRAKT, GLOBAL GARDEN PRODUCTS, German Tools, Diold, Instrument DVT, Interskol, Kalibr 2001, , KÄRCHER, CORDOBA AET, LIT TRADING, Meritlink Rus, METABO, Pride TFGm PRorab, Sorokin Trade House, TTI, Translogistics, Centre of Tool Trading, HITACHI POWER TOOLs, Sturm, Encore, etc. The joint German stand exhibiting tools and equipment was organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany.

A Demonstration Area will be working within MITEX’2012 exhibition at Pavilion #2 Hall #3 showing the new tools and equipment for construction, repair, housing and public services, gardening and forestry. The exhibitors will hold master classes and presentations, offering all the visitors to try the tools and equipment in operation. Stanley Black & Decker, Interskol, Prorab, Starwin, Blaunt and Fiolent Plant have already confirmed their events at MITEX Demonstration Area.
The Organizers have developed a special Students Programme aimed at young specialists and future industry experts. The Programme’s mission is to provide the young people an opportunity to see and the latest trends and technologies in the global tool industry and the advanced products of the world famous brands. Students of the leading Moscow specialized universities and colleges are invited to attend educational and practical sessions and master classes organized by the exhibitors at their stands or at the special Seminar Area in Pavilion #2, Hall#3. The Programme is supported by the leading tool manufacturers, including Stanley Black & Decker, Robert Bosch, Hilti, Metabo, Hitachi.
Wood Master Magazine has also prepared an exciting programme, including:
- Master classes represented by the best woodworking professionals;
- Demonstration of brand new tools;
- Contests and drawings;
- Woodwork fair.
Visitors will have an opportunity to communicate with masters in order to get useful advises on tools operation, maintenance, and setting. Everyone will be welcomed to try working on different machines, and personally experience represented hand tools and equipment.
Rubankov company will demonstrate to MITEX visitors and guests a unique collection of 19th-20th century planes. The collection consists of wooden planes, which will be represented along with their modern counterparts in the background of the old posters and catalogues. The collection also includes numerous carpentry and bench tools: saws, wrenches, pliers, drills, tape measures, which have been collected and restored by Rubankov company.
This year MITEX visitors will enjoy the diverse entertainment programme. A unique show of Belt Sander Tools Expert Race, organized by Tools Expert magazine, will take place at Pavilion #2 Hall#2. The visitors will witness how the professional belt sanders turn into race cars on a specially designed race track. Participants and winners will get the prizes!
Presentations and demo shows of tools and equipment will be held at the exhibitors stands as well. “Mir Instrumenta” will show GROSS brand joint pliers manufactured in Germany, and HITACHI will offer the visitors to take part in an interactive show offering everyone even without having special skills to create an exclusive “designer thing” with their own hands using HITACHI tools..
MITEX organizers do their best to make the exhibition more comfortable for both exhibitors and visitors every year. Every specialist can register at the exhibition website www.mitexpo.ru to get a complimentary e-invitation, print it and exchange over the visitor badge at the CEC “Expocentre” entrance without completing any other forms. For the second running year the Organizers develop the Android based MITEX guide for iPhones and smart phones to make the visitors’ navigation easier.
