On 7-10 November CEC “Expocentre” (Pavilion 2) will host the 10th Moscow International Tool Expo MITEX 2017, the only tool exhibition in Russia and the CIS countries, and the major tool exhibition in the Eastern Europe.

Over 400 exhibitors from 18 countries, including Australia, the UK, Vietnam, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, China, Malaysia, Belarus, South Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, the USA, Taiwan, Poland, Turkey will take part in MITEX 2017.

Exhibition area: 16 500 sq m

The General Sponsor of MITEX 2017 is STIHL Group that develops, manufactures and distributes power tools for professional forestry and agriculture as well as for garden and landscape maintenance, and the construction sector.

The regular “MITEX” exhibitors made the core group of the show: 220Volt, Gedore, Green Works, Hitachi, Kordoba, KWB Rus, Lit Trading, Meritlink, Metabo, Rubi, Stabila, Stihl, Wald, Vneshtehkontrakt, Drilltechservice, Interskol, Patriot, Prorab, TMK, Uralopt, Fiolent and other companies. The exhibitors will present new tools and equipment, as well as special offers during four exhibition days for the visitors only.

An intensive programme of co-located events is the best complement to the exhibition’s working atmosphere. One of the key events of the show is the Conference “Russian Market of Power Tools and Labour Saving Devices: Present State and Prospects”, organized on 8 November by RATPE Association, the MITEX Strategic Partner. The Conference has become a traditional place where experts discuss the latest market trends in the tool industry and the most pressing issues, including waste disposal, environmental fees, customs regulation in the EEU and Russia, and others. Among the Forum’s speakers there are Boris Goldstein, RATPE President, A.A. Dolgorukov, Chairman of RATPE Marketing Committee, A.V. Onischuk, President of “Electronics — Disposal” Association, M.V. Lyakisheva, Adviser to the General Director for Customs Affairs of the NAWINIA Logistics Holding, Sergey Nazarov, Chairman of Interskol Board of Directors, Victor Kislitsyn, Deputy General Director of JSC “Fiolent”, M.M. Vasilyev, Deputy Director of SRC “MIR”.

The Conference "“DIY market: trends and best practices” organized by Mastergrad on 8 November, promises to be an interesting event for the exhibition guests.

The topical import substitution trend is presented at MITEX in “Made in Russia” programme that brings together the companies interested in domestic industry development and high quality professional and household tools manufacturing in Russia. This year the Programme attracted 53 companies.

The “Joinery show” is organized by RUBANKOV company at MITEX for the first time. The unique joiner and woodworking technologies will be demonstrated at the numerous master classes. During four exhibition days the visitors have a chance to demonstrate their own creativity or to see how the specialists work on a fret-sawing machine or a milling cutter. The visitors are welcome to join the master classes on woodcarving, furniture making, Japanese joinery, which will be broadcast to the big screen. The “Joinery show” will be conducted by Alexei Deikin, head of the RUBANKOV Joinery School, Sergey Klein the cabinetmaker, Dmitry Pushin, head of PETROGRAD tool shop, and other masters.
