The official figures confirm a great interest to the show. According to the statistics data of Russcom IT Systems audit, 16,370 visits were registered during the exhibition. More than 94% of MITEX visitors represented dealer and retail chains, construction, repair and woodworking companies, educational institutions and housing and utility sector.
The companies from Germany, China, and Taiwan demonstrated their products and services at national collective expositions.

MITEX business programme events became a centre for lively discussion on the most pressing issues the Russian tool industry was facing this year.
Representatives of “Interskol”, “Robert Bosch”, “Fiolent Plant” and “Minpromtorg” made reports on the current market state, and also discussed the ways to combat the illicit industrial products trafficking and problems in cross-border trade at the Forum on “Russian Market of Power Tools and Labour Saving Devices: Present State and Prospects”. Over 100 delegates attended the Conference.
Major retailers, manufacturers and marketers shared their anti-crisis cases, fresh analytics and forecasts on DIY market development at the Conference organized by Mastercity.ru. According to experts, in 2014 this segment showed a 44% increase compared to 2013, and will increase in the future.
Profitoolinfo.ru hosted a conference and a seminar on one of the most important topic of the year: “How to manage a retail store during the crisis”.
POTREBITEL Publishing House, the regular media partner of the show organized 2 interesting events. One of the Conferences was dedicated to the import substitution in the power tool market. Another Conference was dedicated to battery technology, where representatives of Bosch, DeWALT, Metabo, Milwaukee, Anchor and other companies represented their novelties and spoke about what high-profile releases can be expected in the nearest future.
Every day “WOOD master” magazine hosted a series of woodworking tools and equipment presentations and master classes on diverse crafts for private foremen.
Cordoba Group, an authorized distributor of Hyundai Power Products in Russia, LIT Trading, Hitachi Power Tool and Sistema presented their expositions at the outdoor area in front of the pavilion. The visitors were welcome to try the tools in operation and to watch the work of a master who cut out wooden figures.
