The 12th International Exhibition of Tools, Equipment and Technologies MITEX-2019 finished its work in Moscow. Four exhibition days turned out to be very eventful: 558 companies from 21 countries of the world presented novelties of tools and equipment in two pavilions of the Central Exhibition Complex “EXPOCENTRE”.

The total exhibition area was 22100 square meters.

In 2019, MITEX brought together the true elite of the global tool industry. Booths were presented by such industry leaders as STIHL, BOSCH, INTERSKOL, STABILA, Metabo, DENZEL, FLEX Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH, Honda Engines, DIMAX INTERNATIONAL, KOLNER, REBIR, Greenworks, PATRIOT, GK Sturm!, WALD, Vneshtekhkontrakt, Gedore Tool Center, Wald, GC RESANTA, Caliber, LIT Trading, TD Pride, STAVR, TMK OptTorg, Uraloptinstrument and other companies.

Tool manufacturers of Germany, China, and Taiwan presented their products in the combined national collective pavilions.

The pool of MITEX Russian participants was also representative. The “Made in Russia” program was working at the exhibition again, that united together 62 companies this year. The intellectual developments, materials and technologies presented within its framework have once again confirmed that domestic know-how becomes more, and Russian developments can compete with foreign models with dignity.

In total, equipment and tools were presented in 27 thematic sections at the MITEX site. Such a wide specialization made it possible to attract a large number of professional buyers, because only at MITEX in personal communication with manufacturers, during tests and masterclasses, expert discussions, it is possible to find your tool and get favorable offer for its purchase.

Daily business program was also eventful: expert discussions, industry conferences, master classes and business meetings.

Development of tool industry largely determines the state of the country’s entire economy. Competitiveness of many Russian enterprises depends on the quality and innovativeness of the tool. During the Conference of the Association of trading companies and manufacturers of electric tools and small-scale mechanization “The Russian market of electric tools and small-scale mechanization. Status and prospects” experts and practitioners discussed the development of the Russian market of electric tools and small-scale mechanization.

As it was emphasized, a modern tool is a synergy of advantages, such as competence, manufacturability, multifunctionality, speed and work safety. With the proper organization of the workflow, a tool becomes an important business asset that can withstand high competition in the market.

It was also noted that in the context of the implementation of the import substitution policy, Russian tool manufacturers have the right to rely on government support — in the field of public procurement or due to barrage duties on the imported equipment.

As part of the promotional programs that the exhibition participants prepared for the visitors, there were performances by comedian Gennady Vetrov, Nikolai Valuev visit of the Interskol stand and performances of accordionists and artists.

The exhibition was covered by the constantly working press center of the event itself, and industry publications and portals — “POTRIEBITEL” — series of magazines, www.master-forum.ru, www.forumhouse.ru, fastinfo.ru, and others, which through newsletters and posts on social networks informed everyone who could not visit the exhibition personally about what was happening on the main industry site of the country.

According to the feedback of MITEX participants, the exhibition provides an opportunity not only to find out about current market development trends but also to get acquainted with the innovations of the instrumental series. First of all, it is an effective working platform for getting new contacts. At the only industry event of such scale in Russia, the CIS, and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe professional suppliers of the tools and those who use them at their work or their own business traditionally meet here. So, the opportunity to find business partners is the main reason to come to MITEX every year, because the number of exhibitors is constantly growing.

MITEX is also interesting to those visitors who like to craft something with their own hands. This year, in the framework of the exhibition, in partnership with RUBANKOV company, the joiner’s show and various master classes were again held by ForumHouse and Wood-Master. Everyone could try their hand at making baguette frames, finishing work on furniture or woodcarving, sharpening carpentry tools and much more.

This year 21123 professional visitors attended MITEX-2019.

The exhibition event was organized with the support of the RATPE Association, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the German Association German Tool Manufacturers (FWI), magazines of the “Potriebitel” series.
