The Tooling Celestial Empire: Large-scale Chinese Exposition at MITEX 2023

MITEX, the International Exhibition of Tools, Equipment and Technologies, will take place at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, from 7-10 November 2023. A wide range of high-tech solutions will be presented in 27 thematic sections. This year, the exhibition area has increased by 30%, and the number of Russian and foreign exhibitors is several times higher than last year. Over 550 companies from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, India, Turkey and Taiwan applied to take part in the event.

For more than 15 years, MITEX has been a place of attraction for leading manufacturers and suppliers of the tool industry. Last year, in response to the Russian market's need for quality tooling solutions, the exhibition was held in a renewed format. The event brought together equipment manufacturers and suppliers, representatives of industrial and service companies, who showed an extended range of tools for industrial use on one platform. Moreover, the year 2022 has set a steady trend for fairgrounds to cooperate with manufacturers from Asia, who have come to replace European suppliers. This trend continues today.

For example, MITEX CHINA, a large-scale national exposition, will open at MITEX in 2023. Pavilion 7 at Expocentre will bring together more than 350 manufacturers from China.

For the first time, one of the leading suppliers of construction tools and equipment from China, Zitrek RUS, a supplier of DIY and Household products, will take part in the event. The main brands are Zitrek and DEKO.

Also among the premieres of this season are the solutions of the company "Eastern Tool Company", which specializes in the supplying of high–quality construction and household equipment under the VERTON brand. The main production facilities are in China, and the head office is located in Khabarovsk.

Traditionally, power tool manufacturer DONGCHENG will present its solutions. The company from China has been active on the tool market for over 35 years. Today the DONGCHENG dealer network covers more than 60 countries.

In addition, leading manufacturers from Turkey, Taiwan and India will present a separate collective exposition this year.

Today, we can see that more and more Chinese manufacturers are showing interest in the Russian market, increasing their business activity and participating in industry events. In response to market demand for quality tooling solutions for domestic and industrial use, this year's trade fair will open a major national exposition - MITEX CHINA. In addition, there will be separate thematic blocks within the business programme, where market exhibitors will be able to discuss issues of Russian-Asian cooperation and the construction of supply chains", commented Gulnara Markelova, MITEX Director.
